Tactile, lifelike physics
Software should never be a flat slab of color; it must carry the weight and feel of the real world. Every touch makes the interface compress with a damped, jelly-like elasticity, then bounce naturally back on release. And when a persistent state is selected, it is accompanied by a halo that fades in and out as calmly as breathing.
Translucent depth across boundaries
We abandon the dull, conventional hard black shadow. Gaussian blur and translucent frosted glass create the screen's sense of three-dimensional space. When a dialog appears or a menu unfolds, the layer beneath shifts naturally out of focus, drawing the eye exactly where it should go. Glow and color are free to spill past a component's physical edge, giving the interface a life unconstrained by frames.
Readability
Every design ideal must return to the foundation of pragmatism, and readability is a principle we never compromise on. Text and background always keep an absolutely clear visual contrast — and when the background tone flips, the text is smart enough to flip its own contrast color along with it.
The state-aware halo
When the user selects a persistent state or mode, the interface should not stay silent. A soft ring of light blooms around the activated component, fading in at an unhurried pace — as if quietly reminding you that it is at work. You never have to guess the current setting, and a plain static choice becomes visual feedback with life and spatial presence.
